How WiFi-direct dash cam sync works
Most dashcam frustration in India is not about the sensor — it is about the app. DashMan's camera records to a microSD card on its own, independent of your phone. When you want footage, you open the DashMan app near the car, join the camera's local WiFi hotspot, and pull the clips you want onto your phone. Because the transfer happens over the camera's hotspot, it costs zero mobile data.
This is the opposite of dashcams whose app has to stay connected to keep recording. With DashMan, the app is only a sync and playback surface. Close it, background it, take a call — the car dash cam keeps recording.
